The importance of financial education for children
According to figures from the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Users of Financial Services (CONDUSEF), 75% of Mexican children and young people do not have basic knowledge about finances. However, those who receive financial education are more likely to save, spend responsibly and plan for their financial future, according to CONDUSEF.
Therefore, through this solidarity action in Donadora to raise funds for the EDUCA Foundation, more children and young people in Mexico will be able to develop financial skills. This will boost financial and social inclusion in the youngest to create agents of change and a society better prepared to face challenges, as well as future entrepreneurs in the region.
Since 1995, EDUCA has been supporting schools that serve low-income students and families, bringing social, financial and entrepreneurship education to children and young people throughout the country. At Finnovista, we want to help children acquire the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions and reach their full potential;

On September 26th and 27th in El Cantoral we will celebrate FINNOSUMMIT, the largest Fintech conference in Latin America where entrepreneurs, executives from financial institutions and the most influential investors, among many other players in the Fintech ecosystem, will gather to seek, generate and implement new opportunities for the transformation of the industry.
Those attending the event are invited to participate in this solidarity initiative to donate funds to Fundación EDUCA. EDUCA, through its program AHORRA Y EMPRENDE, develops financial and entrepreneurial skills for children and young people to work on creativity, leadership and be able to design a project, work for it and be agents of change. They are trained in socio-emotional, financial and entrepreneurial education skills in children and young people;
