There\u2019s a scene we all know.<\/p>\n

We leave an event, head home with a handful of new LinkedIn connections, a stack of business cards, and the feeling that we made the most of our time. Yet, a few days later, many of those connections remain untouched, and only a handful ever turn into conversations with real impact.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s what we\u2019ve traditionally called networking. At FINNOSUMMIT 2026, our tenth edition, we want to take that idea one step further\u2014with what we call Netgrowing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Over the years, I\u2019ve come to realize that the value of an event isn\u2019t measured by how many people we meet, but by the quality of the conversations we create.<\/p>\n

We live in a hyperconnected world. Access to people, companies, and markets has never been easier. Yet paradoxically, building genuine relationships based on trust, collaboration, and long-term value has never been more challenging. That\u2019s why I believe we\u2019re witnessing a fundamental shift in the way we think about connection.<\/p>\n

For years, networking was defined as expanding our professional network. That idea still matters\u2014but today, it\u2019s no longer enough.<\/p>\n

The real competitive advantage lies in transforming a network into a living ecosystem, where every connection has a shared purpose and the potential to evolve into partnerships, innovation, and tangible business outcomes.<\/p>\n

That is the mindset behind Netgrowing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not about meeting more people. It\u2019s about intentionally designing environments where the right conversations happen at the right time, between the right people, with the shared goal of creating value for everyone involved.<\/p>\n

In my experience, the best opportunities rarely happen by chance.<\/p>\n

They emerge when there is intention, active listening, context, and a genuine willingness to understand what the other person needs before thinking about what we want to offer.<\/p>\n

Throughout my career, I\u2019ve had the privilege of participating in gatherings where leaders from very different industries came together. Time and again, I discovered that the greatest value wasn\u2019t found in the official agenda\u2014it emerged from an unexpected conversation between people who had never imagined they could build something together.<\/p>\n

Those moments convinced me that the most valuable opportunities aren\u2019t always found. More often than not, they are intentionally created.<\/p>\n

The conversations that transform organizations rarely begin with a prepared speech.<\/p>\n

They begin with questions.<\/p>\n

Questions that open new possibilities.<\/p>\n

Questions that uncover shared challenges.<\/p>\n

Questions that reveal unexpected common ground.<\/p>\n

When a conversation is thoughtfully designed, it stops being a simple exchange of information and becomes a space where new ideas emerge, unlikely partnerships take shape, and projects are born that none of the participants could have imagined on their own.<\/p>\n

To me, that is the true value of building ecosystems.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t just about companies, technology, or innovation.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s about people choosing to collaborate, share knowledge, and build trust before thinking about transactions.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m convinced the future belongs to those who know how to create these kinds of conversations\u2014not because they have all the answers, but because they know how to create the conditions where the best answers can emerge collectively.<\/p>\n

That is also the spirit behind the Netgrowing Labs<\/strong> at FINNOSUMMIT.<\/p>\n

They are designed to create intentional spaces where every conversation has purpose, every connection has the potential to become an opportunity, and every interaction becomes the starting point for lasting relationships.<\/p>\n
