Some of the most revealing moments included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The &#8220;Email for Payments&#8221; Vision:<\/strong> Alex Lakatos explained how the Interledger Protocol aims to make sending money between different platforms, currencies, and borders as simple as sending an email, eliminating the friction that defines current systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Real Problem in Mexico:<\/strong> A powerful story was shared about a community in Oaxaca where sending a remittance from the U.S. can cost up to 18% and take 3 days.
