Since the publication of the previous Fintech Radar in the last quarter of 2023, 48 new companies have joined the Chilean ecosystem, representing an annual growth rate of 16%.
It is estimated that there are an additional 137 foreign startups operating in the country. Consequently, the Fintech market in Chile now comprises over 485 companies.
Although the report shows better data than the rest of the region, with 31.5% of women working in Fintech companies and 20.7% of them in executive positions, there is still progress to be made in terms of gender parity and inclusion in Chile.
