    Alfonso De Los Ríos started his tech journey at the age of 11, mainly learning from youtube tutorials. Creating through coding became his passion, later on he had the opportunity to attend Stanford´s summer camp where he met Maximiliano Casal his now Co-partner, that's how Nowports began and grew to be the first digital freight forward in Latin America. A year ago Nowports was accepted to participate in Silicon Valley Y Combinator accelerator, they granted a $150,000 USD prize that allowed the Company to begin its operations. Today Nowports has offices in Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Colombia and the United States. Rafa has more than 15 years of experience across venture capital, impact investing, private equity, and investment banking. Prior to Quona, Rafa spent six years at Omidyar Network, where he focused on education, emerging technologies, and financial inclusion in LatAm and the US. He has also worked for Acumen Fund and Adobe Ventures, two impact investment funds, and MV Capital, a leading European subordinated debt fund manager. He began his career at UBS Investment Bank in London. Rafa is also an executive coach and active supporter of education nonprofits. He holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley, and honors degrees in law and business administration from ICADE (Madrid).
